Operative 2 is 'Compton'. Darwyn Talleck, aka 'Compton', grew up on the colony world of Compton. As a geologist, he enjoys setting things on fire. He's a Second Seeker, mainly because his idealistic older sister was lost to the Scoured Stars, and mother was distraught. Compton's side project is toughening up his students at the academy with rousing games of arc pistol tag. The best parts of life in the Society is Absalom Station and its copious food, booze, and first-run entertainment options. The worst part is all the forms, such as liability waivers for arc pistol tag.
