Bloodrager question for high lvl gms.

The Bloodrager at lvl 11 gets Greater Bloodrage.  It states that beside the normal stat bumps from raging the bloodrager also can "In addition, upon entering a bloodrage, the bloodrager can apply the effects a bloodrager spell he knows of 2nd level or lower to himself. The spell must have a range of touch or personal."

Now this is mostly for buff spells but would you also rule that this would apply for spells like shocking grasp and other touch spells.  

I'm thinking, Go into a rage, which is a free action, part of the rage is casting shocking grasp, moving up and hitting the bad guy with my 1 attack at my high bab and then delivering the spell since touching is considered a free action.  I'm also arcane striking, with demonic bulk, and power attack

what this ends up with me doing is my physical attack is +18 3d6+31 + 1d6 acid or flame, plus 5d6 shocking grasp.

For shocking grasp the damage is the effect so sorry but this will not work.

Take a look at the Blood Conduit archetype. It will let you do something similar and from level 5.
