Hey Adventurers,

First off, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already signed up for DragonCon 2024! Your enthusiasm and dedication are what make these events truly special.
We still need a few more awesome Table GMs and Headquarters Personnel to help make this event a blast. Each volunteer will cover a 5-hour time slot. Here are the shifts we need to fill:
  • Thursday, August 29: 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
  • Friday, August 30: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 31: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • Sunday, September 1: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • Monday, September 2: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
We'll be running:
  • Quests on Demand for Pathfinder Society 2nd Edition
  • Scenarios for Pathfinder Society 1st Edition, Pathfinder Society 2nd Edition, and Starfinder Society 1st Edition
  • Interactive Specials for Pathfinder Society 2nd Edition and Starfinder Society 1st Edition
  • Starfinder Society 2nd Edition Playtest Scenarios
For Starfinder Society 2nd Edition, make sure your table provides players with the link to the playtest website and follows the guidance in the Paizo blog entry on Organized Play and the Playtest here.
We’re super excited to have Alex Speidel, Organized Play Coordinator from Paizo, joining us this year. He might even run a game or two!
If you can't volunteer this year but want to stay in the loop for future events or be removed from our list, please fill out the DragonCon 2024 Volunteer Form.
For those ready to dive in, use the volunteer form to pick your time slots, game system, and scenario. Instructions are on the page to help you out. For Quests, we'll be taking walk-ups and sharing a player pool with DDAL this year. Check out the planning schedule here to see all the quests and bounties we're offering.
This year, we're also supporting DragonCon's Charity Partner, the Arthritis Foundation. We'll auction player boons and let players make on-the-spot donations for in-game perks ($1 for a reroll, $5 for a +5 to a roll before results, $10 for a reroll with a +5 bonus, and $20 for an automatic Natural 20/Critical Success). Both table GMs and HQ personnel will handle cash, which will need to be turned in to HQ and then to DragonCon personnel.
DragonCon has achieved Premier status this year, reserved for conventions with at least 75 tables scheduled/run. GMs will receive a $15 Paizo voucher per block run, and 6 slots will also get a PDF product of your choice. The Achievement Point Multiplier is 1.75x the normal game award. Event support will be provided through RPGChronicles.
Thank you so much for volunteering and making DragonCon amazing. If you have any questions or need anything, feel free to reach out to me.
Cheers
