A snakeskin tunic is a tight, form-fitting shirt crafted from the scales of a giant snake. When worn, it grants a +1 armor bonus to AC, a +2 enhancement bonus to Dexterity, and a +2 resistance bonus on saving throws against poison.
Does this item actually give a +2 to AC once you take into consideration the enhancement bonus to Dex? It does clearly state an armor bonus in the description. Nothing else does, like say a Belt of Incredible Dexterity. The increase to AC on that is assumed from your Dex going up.
(And yes, I understand that neither of these bonuses stack. It's going to casters with no armor bonus.)

This gives you a +1 armor bonus to AC, but if you have mage armor or any other armor on, they don't stack.
This does give you a +2 enhance to dex, which adds its own +1 to AC, but that won't stack with a dex belt.
So the item winds up being rather niche.

Especially since most casters don't even worry about their AC. It will give you +1 to hit on your ranged touch spells if you aren't wearing a belt I guess.
