d20 Hosting a bi-weekly tabletop forum & writing Meetup
Posted by: marfejokin - 09-12-2019, 10:12 PM - Forum: Off-Topic - No Replies

Hey all, I'm jumping back into my passion, which is tabletop role playing! I'm very excited. Big Grin  I'm going to host a bi-weekly Meetup for game/dungeon masters at Manuel's Tavern. The idea is to create regular event that game masters can get together and talk about how to sharpen their skill as a game facilitator. I also plan to spend some time helping GMs write their next adventure path, module, campaign, etc.

It's a work-in-progress and I want it to grow. If you're interested check it out at Meetup.com. I'm always open to suggestions--this is a community-driven event.

My Parents' Basement - December 11
Posted by: Abraham Z - 09-12-2019, 09:35 AM - Forum: My Parents' Basement - Replies (9)

My Parents' Basement is a combination restaurant, bar and comic book store. Games, food, beer and comics - what more could you need? By the way, they have a lot of beers on tap. The Pathfinder Society meets at My Parents' Basement on the second Wednesday of every month.

Wednesday, December 11, 6:30-11:00

Table 1: 5-19 Horn of Aroden (1-5)
For months Taldor faction leader Lady Gloriana Morilla has mustered a small army to aid the Mendevian Crusade; however, without a powerful, unifying icon to rally around, progress is slow. When her agents learned of a dormant relic that might be awakened, she petitioned the Pathfinder Society for its aid in recovering this so-called Horn of Aroden, knowing that the Society would benefit from her army’s hastened arrival. The PCs travel to Brevoy, a fragmented land of dueling, cold, and conquest to secure this horn, though in doing so they join an ongoing plot of politics and intrigue. Content in “The Horn of Aroden” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Taldor [aka Sovereign Court] faction. Written by Nicholas Herold.

Table 1: 10-16 What the Helms Hide (1-5)
A series of four quests designed for levels 1-5. Disagreements among the Pathfinders erupted into violence 300 years ago, spurring the Society's leaders to don helms that hid their identities and protected them from assassins. These ten members of the Decemvirate have remained anonymous to this day, but a recent discovery may uncover new information about this dangerous part of the Society's history. With a unique window into the past, it falls to the PCs to identify these original leaders and the secrets they buried before donning the helms—in the process helping to unveil a hidden threat to the Society. What the Helms Hide includes four 1-hour adventures that send the PCs across the Inner Sea region to uncover the secretive Decemvirate's past. The series includes a finale adventure, but players can experience the other parts in any order. Written by Calder CaDavid, Lysle Kapp, Kendra Leigh Speedling, and Nate Wright.

#1-13 On the Trail of History GM - Brienne
A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

Now possessing key information about the mysteries of the Scoured Stars, the Starfinder Society sends the PCs to a distant star system in the Vast. The idea that the non-spacefaring natives of this system have any connection with the distant Scoured Stars seems unlikely, but it's up to the PCs to confirm if a connection does exist. Other factions complicate the situation by having their own unique agendas relating to the distant world and its peaceful inhabitants.

Content in On the Trail of History also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo) faction. Content in this scenario also contributes to the ongoing year of the Scoured Stars storyline.

#5-12: Destiny of the Sands Part 1 - A Bitter Bargain    GM -

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

Amenopheus has learned that the legacy of the Jeweled Sages lies near the Osirian trade city of Eto, and the Pathfinder Society has pledged its support in the Sapphire Sage’s investigation of his ancient order; however the lead dried up—that was until a familiar information broker contacted Amenopheus offering an exchange of services. To assist an ally and unlock the secrets of Osirion’s past, the Society must deal with a deadly antagonist once more by sending the PCs to fulfill the bargain and collect its due. The only question is what price their foe will demand.

“A Bitter Bargain” is the first scenario in the three-part Destiny of the Sands campaign arc. It is followed by Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–15: Destiny of the Sands—Part 2: "Race to Seeker’s Folly" and Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–16: Destiny of the Sands—Part 3: "Sanctum of the Sages." All three chapters are intended to be played in order.

Content in “A Bitter Bargain” also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Osirion, Qadira, and Sczarni factions.
