Starfinder Society Scenario #5-13: Finding the Forgotten

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 7th- through 10th-level characters.

By order of First Seeker Ehu Hadif, the Starfinders are dispatched to find and establish contact with a missing colony in the Vast. Originally sponsored a century ago by the Pact Worlds, the colony has been erased from all official records and the First Seeker suspects foul play. While similar missing colonies have been tied to the past plots of Historia-Prime, the fate of this colony is seemingly unconnected and remains a mystery. It’s up to you to find the forgotten!

This is the fifth scenario in the ongoing story of the Year of Redemption's Rise. While it is recommended you begin with Intro: Year of Redemption's Rise, the remaining scenarios in the Year of Redemption's Rise can be played in any order.

  Atlanta Q1 2023 Update
Posted by: LokiTheWanderer - 04-17-2023, 03:54 PM - Forum: Atlanta Administration - No Replies

AtlantaPFS is off to a good start this year.  We're on track to blow last year out of the water, which, frankly, is a low bar to overcome.  But, in the same way Organized Play is using last year as the baseline for comparative stats, so are we.

The most improved number is our total table count, including special events.  We're 14 tables away from beating the entire year of 2022 already.  4 new events were added in the first quarter, as were 2 new VOs and 7 venues.  We've given out almost 59% as many new player IDs so far as we did last year.  We also successfully ran nearly 74% of the games we scheduled without cancellations or substitutions (on the RSP side) and 56% when special events are included.

Data is being collected from official sources and a deep dive into a lot of numbers shows some interesting trends as far as our "Most Actives":
Month - March
Venue - Level-Up Duluth
Day of the week - Tuesday, with Saturday a close second
Web presence month - January (3880 hits across our digital footprint)

As some of you may already know, Venture-Officers have a requirement to run a specific number of games publicly per month, which gives us a monthly goal to hit, at a minimum, based on the number of Venture-Officers.  On average, we are exceeding the goal.

None of this would be possible without you, the player and GM base who come out to support our efforts.  Going into our busiest time of the year, convention season (May - September), we need your support even more.  If you've ever been curious to learn the games or have a desire to run them, let us know.  We recruit all year long for GMs for local game days as well as conventions.  The volunteer form is located on the AtlantaPFS website (https://atlantapfs.org/volunteer-for-loc...onventions).

On a final note, if anyone is interested in the numbers or how they are captured/calculated, feel free to reach out.

Looking forward to continuing to see you at the tables!

Starfinder Adventure Path #46: The Perfect Storm (Drift Crashers 1 of 3)

The Drift Crisis has begun! When the Drift—the dimension that allows starships to travel faster than light—suddenly crashes, all the starships in it are hurled to random locations in the multiverse. Among these starships is the Marata, whose crew find themselves stranded in Hell, their starship now boasting a strange new artifact with the power to travel anywhere in space and time. Soon they're literally running from the devil, crashing through parallel universes, coming face to face with strange versions of themselves, and finally reaching an apocalyptic future where everyone they know is dead. Will they ever find their way home again?

"The Perfect Storm" is a Starfinder adventure for four 1st-level characters, launching the 3-volume Drift Crashers Adventure Path. Drift Crashers is part of the Drift Crisis, an event taking place across the entire Starfinder game line, in which faster-than-light travel breaks down and the galaxy is thrown into chaos. In addition to the adventure itself, this book includes a player's guide filled with character creation advice and new gear designed just for Drift Crashers players, along with an Adventure Toolbox filled with new rule options and strange alien creatures.

Each bi-monthly full-color softcover Starfinder Adventure Path volume contains a new installment of a series of interconnected science-fantasy quests that together create a fully developed plot of sweeping scale and epic challenges. Each 64-page volume also contains in-depth articles that detail and expand the Starfinder campaign setting and provide new rules, a host of exciting new monsters and alien races, a new planet to explore and starship to pilot, and more!

The Drift Crashers Adventure Path is sanctioned for use in Starfinder Society Organized Play. The rules for running this Adventure Path and Chronicle sheets are available as a free download (573.3 kb PDF).
