The group is given credits to buy *one* album which they then give to someone else (that’s the mission) and if an individual PC wants to buy their own copy of the album with personal funds, they can. Because you have likely found some credsticks by that point, you will be able to buy the album even if you started the scenario with zero credits. But in that case 50 credits is deducted from that PC’s rewards.
